Located in Davis, California, Troop 466 is a group of scouts from ages 11-17 committed to following the scout oath and law. Troop meetings are on Mondays from 7-8:30 at St. Martin's Church, and campouts are monthly.
Campsite Info: Sky Campground Check-in: 12:00 PM Sat Oct 10 Check-out 12:00 PM Sun Oct 11 Campsites: Sky 008, Sky 009; along Sky Trail Traveling: St. Martin to Sky Trail head: 1 hour 45 minutes (Trailhead off Limantour Road, 10 car parking lot) Sky Trail to Sky Campground: 1.5 mile backpack. Trail is a slight incline (+430 feet) to the campsite.

The Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) is the governing and planning body of a Scouting America troop, responsible for organizing the troop's meetings, outings, and overall program. It operates on the principle of a "scout-led" troop, meaning youth members make the key decisions rather than adult leaders.
A Scouting committee meeting is an adult administrative gathering held at least once a month to handle behind-the-scenes support, logistics, and planning for a troop.

This is a troop favorite.Fort Ross is a California State Historic Park showcasing a historic Russian-era fort compound designated a National Historic Landmark. Russians settled on the ancestral Kashia Pomo lands called Metini and the Kashia are still very much a part of the community today. Located 11 miles north of Jenner on scenic California Highway One, Fort Ross is surrounded by sandy beaches, panoramic coves, and redwood forests, with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Salt Point State Park, 8 miles north of Fort Ross, covers 6,000 acres on the coast of Northern California, with two campgrounds, 20 miles of hiking trails, and over 6 miles of rocky coastline. These destinations offer pristine landscapes, recreation and camping, fascinating history, underwater parks with fishing, shipwrecks, and scuba diving, and more. Fort Ross Conservancy is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit and California cooperating association that supports both parks.
